Lehre
I enjoy teaching a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses including introductory mineralogy, petrology and ore deposits. My advanced courses designed for master students cover magmatic and metamorphic processes, ore-forming processes, aqueous geochemistry and fluid-rock interaction as well as chemical thermodynamics of geological and technical materials. In addition, I regularly offer excursions with focus on petrology, orogenic processes and mineral deposits. For industrial applications, I have developed an exploration geochemistry short course, which is run semi-annually with the support of the DMG and under accreditation of European I welcome students in mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, crystallography, inorganic and physical chemistry or materials engineering.
