Erasmus Geology - Information for outgoing students
Students interested in a stay abroad under the ERASMUS agreements can apply for one-semester stay, two-semester stay or an internship (Erasmus-Praktikum). Any student, regardless of nationality, can apply for an Erasmus stay. Students who have already received Erasmus funding during their undergraduate studies can apply for another Erasmus stay during their master studies. The geology program has exchange agreements with 12 universities in Europe. The list of universities and language requirements is available in the application information file.
Application procedure
The application deadline for an Erasmus stay is 28 February each year for the following winter semester and the subsequent summer semester. There is no additional deadline for the summer semester or for remaining available placements.

All application documents should be submitted to the departmental coordinator, Prof. David Dolejs, either per e-mail or as hard copy to the Sekretariat Mineralogie, Albertstr. 23 b, Room 00016.
Further information and contact partners
Your Erasmus application will be handled by two offices:
- Departmental Erasmus office, Albertstr. 23b, Prof. David Dolejs (departmental coordinator). He will assist you with academic matters of your study: course selection, submission of application, and nomination to the home and international university office.
- University Erasmus office, Sedanstr. 4, Ulrich Eckelt (institutional coordinator). This team will guide you through the application process via Mobility Online portal. You will obtain registration link and further information about the registration procedure.
